Press Release for ARTEXPO 2015

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  3/21/15

ORGANIC ABSTRACTION ARTWORK OF ARMEN KOJOYIAN TO BE SHOWCASED AT ARTEXPO 2015

APRIL 23rd-26th, 12pm-7pm

PIER 94, 711 12th Avenue, Booth #345, NY, NY 10019, ph# 800-677-6278

New York City emerging artist Armen Kojoyian will be presenting his bold and vibrant organic abstraction artworks at ARTEXPO 2015 look for booth #345. Armen’s unique methodology is inspired from his affinity for non-western cultural symbols and organic artifacts of the natural world is the driving force behind his work. By restructuring these graphic languages, he unlocks the innate energy of these symbols in organic abstraction to ignite the subconscious.

Armen’s art making process is of the moment and not premeditated with numerous sketching phases. He acts solely as a conduit not a manipulator of the imagery flow. Form and color force themselves magically on to the surfaces which he works.

He uses a variety of oil bars, oil pastels, pastels, oil paint, and various marking implements as the materials for my work. Armen composes this media mostly by finger-tips, brushes, and rags while using thinners, and glazing mediums to achieve a rich painterly surface on archival paper, canvas, and wood panels.

Armen Kojoyian Art website launch

Welcome to my new website armenkojoyianart.com

A long time dream was creating a website for my artwork to showcase my art on a bigger platform. Each part of this site is a culmination of years of effort, acquiring the mastery of photography, and transferring my existing design skills to website design on the Word Press platform.

The best part of this process was that I created all the artwork you see here, representing years of work. I hope you enjoy the art on display and may I be able to show my audience many more artworks in the years to come!
