Abstract Realism what is it? For me and most abstract artists it is that visual world that runs parallel tracks with our vision and follows us abstractionists like a shadow. A world if realism that appears taboo to cross into as we work, but one that feeds our abstraction with the hidden truths of the natural world.
Abstract realism is a stylistic synergy between abstraction infused with hints of realism. Artists of this genre often depict recognizable subjects but reinterpret them in a non-literal visual language.
Personally, I immerse myself in this realm, infusing my distinct abstract style with the constraints of representation, seamlessly deconstructing recognizable elements into my organic world of abstraction.
